Trevor Burchick MBE, the Director of Fulcrum Sports Therapy and Fulcrum Academy, (our internal rehabilitation service) can be described as a sports therapist, masters swimmer, and an enthusiastic golfer.
Over the last 20 years, Trevor has played a leading role in the development of community sports activities local to Greater Manchester. His services led to a very deserved MBE from Prince Charles in 2007.
Trevor is a trustee and skills verifier of UK’s Sports Therapy Foundation regularly demonstrating motivational methods that enhance wellbeing. He is also Chair of the award-winning Northern Wave Swimming Club and established the UK’s global acclaimed international LGBT multi-sports event in 2005, “Pride Games.”
His sports therapy and rehabilitation clinic in the heart of Pro-Balance gym ensures that all aches, pains, pulls, and strains are tackled to overcome problems and improve your life quality.
As a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, his other experience includes being awarded Life Honorary Membership at City & Guilds in helping reduce employment costs through demonstrating how to avoid expensive long-term sickness absence. A qualified Health Trainer himself, Trevor often attends company premises to help staff keep fit at work using Occupational Health methods.
Trevor has 25 years’ experience in learning and development that offers City & Guilds and ILM nationally accredited vocational courses through www.fulcrumacademy.co.uk. Fulcrum Academy leads as a supplier of Health Trainer professional qualifications including the new Level4 Award option.
